The MMLab was founded in 1994. The educational and researching work of the laboratory is included in the software sector of the Department. Its basic activities concern:
- Support of the undergraduate and postgraduate education of the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department of the University of Patras.
- Conduct of theoretical research, aiming at the progress of science in the fields where its members activate.
- Development of applications and tools for Graphics, Multimedia, GIS and Internet Technologies as part of implementation of national and community researching programs and elaboration of diplomatic projects.
